"Writer/director Michael Connors, expanding on the short he made back in 2006, chooses to give the film a gritty and washed-out look resembling real combat footage. The performances are strong—especially Bow Wow, who does a surprisingly good job helping us forget he’s a rapper that shot this right before going on tour with Snoop Dogg. The plot is tightly structured and moves quickly, ratcheting up the tension thanks in no small part to a very intense score. Also, the film never leaves the army base, which adds to the claustrophobic feeling as the action ramps up."
